IRA Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)
If you are age 70½ or older, you may make a tax-free gift directly from your Individual Retirement Account (IRA) to Youth Sailing Virginia — up to $105,000 per year. A QCD counts toward your required minimum distribution (RMD) and is excluded entirely from your taxable income.

Tax Receipts & Acknowledgment
Gifts of $250 or more will receive a written acknowledgment letter confirming the amount of your contribution and that no goods or services were provided in exchange, as required by the IRS.
