Escape the confines of home and set sail on the picturesque Mills Creek. Our Family Learn-to-Sail classes is open to for families of up to four, adults of all ages and children from 8 and older. No prior sailing experience is needed.  Our program is designed to instill essential sailing skills in a fun and family-friendly environment and a great way to get together on the water on one of YSV’s keelboats. Learn the fundamentals of sailing such as steering, sail trim, changing directions by tacking and jibing, reading wind patterns, nomenclature, knots, safety, and rules of the road in this 10-hour course. Tailored for first-time sailing families or families seeking to refresh their skills, our courses offer a comprehensive learning experience, with our qualified instructors will guide you the 10-hour program structured across four classes over a two week period, providing ample time for skill acquisition and practice.
