HOSTED BY YOUTH SAILING VIRGINIA AT FORT MONROE, VIRGINIA
October 15 and 16, 2016to be sailed on Mill Creek at Historic Fort Monroe located in Hampton, VA
High school and middle school sailors from 18 teams representing both public and private schools from Virginia, Maryland, New York and New Jersey will be competing in this year’s upcoming MASSA Fall Fleet Gold Championship on Saturday, October 15th and Sunday, October 16th. Top performers from Christchurch School will be competing to defend their titles from last year!
The MASSA Fall Fleet Gold Championship will begin with races starting around 9:30am and ending around 3pm both days. This event will be sailed on Mill Creek adjacent to Historic Fort Monroe, providing a fantastic place to view the racing. Teams who will be attending the regatta:

All on-land activities will be based along the shore line of Mill Creek and racing can be watched from the shoreline or near the Community Center. Plenty of parking is available. Please follow the signs marking the various areas of the regatta for viewing and parking.

Youth Sailing Virginia, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization; we currently offer a practice and regatta venue for area high schools from our location in Mill Creek on Historic Fort Monroe in Hampton, VA. Our goal is to continue to develop a vibrant Youth Sailing Program that serves the greater Hampton Roads area and involve a broad spectrum of the community in both support and participation.
The Virginia Interscholastic Sailing Association (VISA) is the governing body of high school sailing in Virginia and is also under the umbrella by the Mid Atlantic Scholastic Sailing Association (MASSA). MASSA is a district of the Interscholastic Sailing Association, which coordinates secondary school sailing in the U.S. The Mid Atlantic district includes high school teams from New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia.
